Speech Project (est. 2018) is a space to explore personal narratives through the arts. We seek to provide experimental-programming that expands notions of creativity and education. Group learning is supported with digital and physical teaching methods, offering an environment that centres around community building. Speech Project focuses on providing opportunities such as; peer-mentorship, career advice in the arts industries, and building innovative art exhibitions.

Land Acknowledgment
We wish to acknowledge the land where Speech Project, the Toronto Arts Council, and the Toronto Public Library operate. This land is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Anishinabek Nation, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Huron-Wendat, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. Tkaronto is situated on Dish With One Spoon Treaty Territory and is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Speech Project, the Toronto Arts Council and the Toronto Public Library express gratitude to Indigenous nations for their guardianship of this land. We are thankful for the opportunity to create on the grounds of Tkaronto.
